Cable heating (Tracing)

MechaHeat offer a wide range of high quality heating cables for the heating of pipelines, tanks, barrels and containers, including the necessary accessories and control apparatus.

Heating cables (or tracing) are used as protection against freezing pipelines, barrels and tanks and to maintain working temperatures in industrial areas. This is possible also in environments with an explosion hazard.

Fields of application: protection against freezing, against condensation, defrosting, maintenance of the desired (working) temperature, warming and melting of products (with or without filling).
The installed power of cables is made up by compensation of heat loss plus glowing power, if any. Good insulation is necessary to reach the lowest possible heat loss (and to prevent power from wasting).

We have a majority of heating cables on stock, including the appropriate installation material and special thermostats.
