Convectors and heating fans in non-explosive design
Heating of rooms with an explosive atmosphere. MechaHeat has a wide range of these robust and corrosion resistant heaters, amongst which the ones of the Ruffneck brand. This type of heater is a reliable heat source for industrial applications where high demands are placed on safety, such as refineries, fuel storages, waste water treatment plants, battery charging stations, petrochemical plants, chemical stores, paint storages and areas for paint mixing, gas substance storages, aircraft hangars, natural gas processing plants, etc. An explosion proof convector has a certificate according to the ATEX directive in conformity with directive 94/9/EC. They are suitable for use in zones 1 and 2, for IIA and IIB gas groups and T2, T3 a T4 temperature classes. Available powers are 750 W to 23.1 kW. Supply voltages 220 V, 230 V, 380 V, 400 V or 415 V.
