Design

Heating cartridges are specially designed to generate a concentrated high heat output on a particular place. Such high targeted heating cannot be achieved with any other heating element. The fields of application include, in particular: foundries, plastic and rubber industries, textile industry, packing material manufacture, glass industry, etc.
 

Construction

We offer a special design of heating cartridges for each application and these can also be assembled. In the table you will find an overview of our standard highly loadable cartridges in stainless design (for 230 V). The design with stainless steel housing is suitable for use at temperatures up to 750°C. Brass cartridges can be used up to a maximum temperature of 350°C. The figure below shows a schematic construction of a heating cartridge.
